Do not get us wrong: We love ourselves some Pucci. We can recite the history of our dear departed Emilio from his first client (the Reed College skiing team, as if you didn't already know that) to his ascension as one of the greatest textile print geniuses of the contemporary era. And yet, that very same label has begotten...this. The wearer is a sleek little fashionista; the coat, on its own, is harmless. But wait until you see the wide-leg pants and hat! The pants would look elegant under a more fitted top; and the hat would look fine topping a different ensemble. But put all these elements together, and the girl at the center simply gets buried under all that pink puffy pillowy Pucci. Emilio would turn in his incredibly elegant grave.
