It's good to know our favorite royal hasn't abandoned her thriftiness at the throne. Just last Saturday Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton recycled two pieces to wear to the wedding of a friend, who is dear to her heart. It was the groom, Sam Waley-Cohen, who reconciled the royal couple after their brief split in 2007. The Duchess' sister joined her for the English nuptials, and while Pippa looked equally adorable in a silky chartreuse coat and black hat, on this occasion, it was Kate who stole the spotlight.
The black-and-white print Zara dress made its first fashionable appearance back in 2007 out to Boujis nightclub. We love how the cap-sleeve number shows off her toned body, but still remains appropriate with a modest hemline. The newlywed's black fascinator also made a fashion encore, as it was seen just hours before at an event honoring Queen Elizabeth. Simple black pumps and clutch completed the wedding-worthy look. While some fashion critics will no doubt take the brunette to task for her outfit repeats, we think it's the test of a true fashionista to use the same pieces and still make each outfit unique.
