Snake print has been slithering its way into the closets of Hollywood's elite. We've seen the serpent-inspired design paired with the neutral pumps many times, but now celebs are donning the exotic piece from head-to-toe.
Patina Miller attended the Tony Awards in NYC wearing a stunning Naeem Khan gown. She looked sensational in the full-length, long-sleeve sequin snake-skin patterned gown. The daring look was completed with a tight bun and minimal jewelry. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez attended the Capital Radio Summertime Ball in London in a Lanvin dress and matching Christian Louboutin over-the-thigh boots. The dual snake print seems overkill.

We've seen celebs don velvet blazers during the wintertime, but leave to the Tinseltown babes to rock the heavy cloth during summer, too.
This caught our eye, when just this week, the young Emma Roberts attended the Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2012 Collection wearing this purple piece crafted by the designer himself. Although we think Julia Roberts' niece looks beautiful, her outfit just doesn't seem seasonally appropriate. Just earlier this month, Shenae Grimes also decided to give the classic LBD a velvet twist. Unlike the two stars, Jessica Biel decided to get decked out in the same fabric by wearing a teal Gucci suit. We have to admit, the ladies sure were brave to wear their warm ensembles during the sunniest time of the year.

Celebs like Kate Bosworth and Lauren Conrad hit the dye this summer to add a bit of spunky color to their strands. Both gals had recently split from their men, so we assumed they turned to the wacky dye temporarily to shake their post-breakup blues—a colorful summer fling, if you will.


We thought the trend would dye out (pun intended!) as the season eased into fall, but then just a few days ago Emily Browning joined the band of rainbow-haired lasses as she debuted purple tips at the opening of the Gucci Museum in Florence. While we think the Sucker Punch star has the attitude to pull off the look, we're not so sure we're still on board with the trend.


Since stars like Taryn Manning and Nicki Minaj have also tried the dip-dye fad and it popped up on Peter Som's runway, the edgy look has lost a little bit of its luster. If everyone and their mom rocks the style, it doesn't feel so unique anymore. Or do you disagree?

Kourtney Kardashian and Natalie Portman are two hot mamas that always look fashionable and put together. Even though they may not have the same style (Kourtney is trendier and Natalie is always classic) both wore a white, lace H&M dress from the Conscious Collection.


The Black Swan actress was the first to don the frock (while she was pregnant) for the Vanity Fair's pre-Oscar bash in Beverley Hills, back in February. She paired the organic cotton confection with gold sandals and alternating black-and-white bracelets on each hand. Subtle makeup and loose waves completed her eco-friendly look.
Back in August, the reality star wore the number while she strolled the streets of Encino, Calif. Nude Christian Louboutin strappy heels, an ivory bag and her signature raven locks added to her summer-chic ensemble.
We think li'l Mason and Aleph would be proud of their mommys for wearing environmentally friendly designs, but we give this victory to the eldest Kardashian—Natalie's shoes are just  too dated.

Tulle can often come off like a costume, but this knee-length frock had perfection written all over it. The sheer backless bodice and sweetheart neckline kept the embellished mini from looking too cutesy, and the floral velvet waistline played up the feminine feel while showing off Emma's enviable curves.
The Harry Potter star kept the rest of her accessories complimentary and simple, opting for just an Erickson Beamon cocktail ring and silver Jimmy Choos to finish off her ensemble. Slicked back hair and bold red lips added to the ballerina vibe. Black Swan, who?

While the right fit is important, adding at least one feminine piece is key to making this look comfortably chic rather than sloppy. A slim cut like Kim's topped with a fur vest and cut-out wedges is sure to do the trick, as it's more inspired by the dudes than a Justin Bieber copycat. Even though Rihanna went for a baggier fit and an oversized colorblock sweater, white pointy pumps added the girly element she needed and pulled the whole look together. Not feeling heels? Elle paired hers with weekend-worthy sneaks. Even though her destroyed, frayed jeans look straight out of a Nirvana music video, the half-sleeve wool mustard top by Acne and structured two-tone tote added a sophisticated layer to her ensemble.
