Toughen Up a Leggy Look With a Colored Leather Skirt | Hollywood yohana

Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum

TREND: Colored leather skirts
WHO'S WEARING IT: Emmy Rossum, Sophia Bush (Christian Dior), Blake Lively (Matthew Williamson)
HOW TO WEAR IT: The power of the leather skirt is still going strong, and now it has expanded to a new territory—color. This is great for anyone who wants an edgy look mixed with girlie elements. For a casual outing, pair the mini with a basic tee and jean jacket. Now if your going for a night out with the girls, wear a bedazzled top that accents the hue of your skirt, like Blake. But if you're scared of rocking such a bight tone, then take inspiration from Sophia, who donned a dark plum version that works marvelously. Plus, her pick has frills, which makes the ensemble that much more feminine.

Emmy & February Jump on the Express Striped Dress Train! | Hollywood yohana

Emmy Rossum, Zoe Saldana, Amanda Seyfried, January Jones, Olivia Munn

We haven't seen this many stars in stripes since the Fourth of July! Last week, we asked mystyle readers to pick who among Zoe Saldana, Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Munn wore Express' ridiculously inexpensive—$49.90, to be exact—red-and-navy dress the best. The overwhelming majority voted for Zoe. (We were right there with you!)
Well, since then, we've spotted Emmy Rossum and a preggers January Jones in the popular nautical number. The former went for a laid-back summer look with a straw hat and flip-flops, while the latter played up the dual tones with red frames, blue pendant necklace, chain-trimmed black shoulder bag and embellished sandals.
While we think it's genius how January was able to disguise her baby bump in the stretchy jersey frock, we're still on Team Zoe. The actress's accessory choices are far too fab to ignore. They make her look like a million bucks!

Emmy Rossum and Rose McGowan Make a Purple | Hollywood yohana

Emmy Rossum, Rose McGowan

What do Emmy Rossum and Rose McGowan have in common besides a shared love for music industry men (Emmy had a romance with Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz, while Rose was Marilyn Manson's main squeeze for a bit)? They both donned purple body-con, below-the-knee sleeveless frocks for Donna Karan's runway show! Do you think the two Hollywood babes called each other in advance to make sure they matched? Probably not, but both gals looked utterly adorable anyway.

The Shameless star opted for a sweetheart look with a high-necked draped frock in a deep plum color. Soft curls, a black clutch and classic Christian Louboutin pumps finished off the cute and subtly sexy ensemble. Meanwhile, Rose wore a more overtly seductive outfit in her sapphire body-hugging dress with a v-neck. Adeler jewels, a confident pose and sassy gladiator sandals contributed to the seductive vibe.

Would You Wear It?: Safety Pin Dresses | Hollywood yohana

Paris Hilton
Anna Paquin

We can never forget Elizabeth Hurley's black Versace safety pin gown back in 1994. It's one of the most iconic dresses of all time! But what about other celebs wearing the fasten detail? Paris Hilton wore an LBD version of Liz's plunging number to the L.A. premiere of This Is It in 2009, except her oversize gold decorative pieces didn't just hold cutouts together—they pointed the way to her nether region. Eww! More recently, actress Anna Paquin resurrected the style when she wore Cushnie et Ochs' black long-sleeve dress with silver safety pin accents to the L.A. premiere of Scream 4. We thought the simple embellishments around her exposed midriff made for a more classic look with edge. Plus, Anna wore her hair in an updo—unlike the heiress—to balance out the frock.

Nicole Richie & Paris Hilton Reunite For Fashion | Hollywood yohana

Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's friendship always seems to come and go, but their love for fashion always remains loyal. So, it was no surprise that the two ran into each other at the I "Heart" Ronson event held at the Roosevelt Hotel in LA.
The former Simple Life costars hugged and chatted away appropriately wearing printed dresses from the Charlotte Ronson collection. You can snatch Paris' white floral frock at JCPenney for less than $30!
Although their BFF days maybe behind, both of them still have much in common. They went from being reality stars to entrepreneurs with their own fashion lines. While the queen of boho named her two brands, Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960, after her daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden. In true Paris form, she named her recent shoe endeavor after herself.
At the end of the night, Paris even tweeted Nicole using their nicknames, "Bill, great seeing you tonight at #Iheartronson. You looked so beautiful! Love you. Love Sill"

Who Broke the Bank? Paris Hilton or Lauren Conrad? | Hollywood yohana

Lauren Conrad, Paris Hilton

From their wavy blond hair and red carpet-ready pose, California girls Paris Hilton and Lauren Conrad look like fashion twinsies in these similar one-shoulder dresses.
Back in 2008, L.C. wore a ruched cobalt frock from her own line to the MTV Awards. The Hills star paired her figure-hugging design with simple black peep-toe pumps and delicate gold jewels. The bright hue of her dress brilliantly pops against her sunkissed skin.
Last month, Paris wore her look alike grape dress by THEIA while promoting her new reality show in Hollywood. The platinum blonde paired her cocktail dress with black platform pumps and gems. That's hot!
So which golden goddess spent more on her dress?

Winterize Your Cocktail Dress With a Colored Faux Fur Bolero | Hollywood yohana

Ashley Olsen, Mary Kate Olsen, Paris Hilton,

TREND: Colored faux fur boleros

WHO'S WEARING IT: Olivia Palermo (Giorgio Armani), Ashley Olsen and Paris Hilton
HOW TO WEAR IT: Now that we are in prime holiday mode, you'll start hitting party, after party in no time. So team your pretty li'l frock with a colored faux fur bolero, during the wintertime. Unlike the classic hues (black, white and brown), these brighter versions are a little harder to pull off. So if you want to be on the safe side, pair this warm fashion with a LBD à la Olsen. You can also go the monochromatic route, by matching the color of your stole to your cocktail dress, like Olivia. Want to hit two trends in one chic look? Follow Paris' lead; choose a colorblock mini and match one of shades to the shrug.

Paris and Nicky Hilton Get Into the Spirit with a Holiday Bash | Hollywood yohana

Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton

You can always expect a killer party wherever Paris Hilton is concerned and last week in Beverly Hills, she did not disappoint! Friends and family were all invited to one night in Paris…'s house for a private "Paris Electric Christmas" holiday bash. The heiress kicked off the season right with her sister Nicky, drinking and dancing the night away to the DJ sets of her good friend Afrojack.

Paris, as usual, made sure all eyes were on her with a glitzy pleated strapless embellished with gold sparkles. The tulle overlay gave a nice elegant touch, and her shimmery makeup complemented her festive frock perfectly. Glossy bangles, her signature gold tresses and nude Christian Louboutin pumps finished her look.
Her sister Nicky went for an edgier look, flashing some leg in a red and black minidress with animal print panels. She finished off the ensemble with black heels, dark lips, brunette locks and a red leather bracelet.
As we can tell from their different styles, sisters don't always think alike. But regardless of the look they decide to rock, the Hilton sisters always manage to get it right!
