Iman Catches Bold Color Combo Fever in Prabal Gurung | Hollywood yohana

Iman

Iman must've been experiencing extreme color combo envy when Fergie dazzled in yellow and blue at the FiFi Awards last week, because the supermodel followed suit at the Gordon Parks Foundation awards dinner in New York City just the other night. The ageless beauty opted for a cyan-and-saffron Prabal Gurung ensemble with draped off-the-shoulder detail and below-the-knee skirt.

The trendy colorblock outfit looks simply stunning against Iman's skin tone. She kept the momentum going with gorgeous turquoise-and-jade Irene Neuwirth danglers.
If it weren't for those heavy black strappy platforms, we would have given the glamazon a Style Shout-Out. The pumps totally weighed down her otherwise vibrant look.

SJP Salutes the End of Summer in Prabal Gurung | Hollywood yohana

Sarah Jessica Parker

That's our girl! We can't help but think the title of Sarah Jessica Parker's latest movie I Don't Know How She Does It was made with her in mind. After all, the girl manages to balance motherhood with everything else on her professional plate and still look bangin' while she promotes her movies.

The multi-tasking mom donned an adorable sleeveless Prabal Gurung dress to attend a press call in London. The blocks of fun color and swaths of floral print elevated the design to a full-on fashion statement. To counter the demure silhouette, Sarah took style tips from Carrie Bradshaw and added a pair of glitter platform Charlotte Olympia heels to add a little downtown edge to the feminine frock. To make things even more interesting, the New York lady added a purple necklace for a touch of bling and finished off the look with her slightly wild mane of signature curls.
But the leading lady wasn't always so perfectly polished. The Hollywood darling had to start on the road to style somewhere, and it ain't all pretty!

Amanda Seyfried Becomes a Fashionista—Just In Time! | Hollywood yohana

Amanda Seyfried

We're liking Amanda Seyfried more and more these days. The mean girl has evolved into a trendsetting fashionista lately, nailing outfit after outfit. All one has to do is look at her latest ensembles as she promotes her latest flick, In Time.

The sidekick-turned-leading lady went classic with a cobalt cutout dress from Lyn Devon that she wore in Berlin. Her nude YSL pumps and bouncy locks completed the sophisticated style.
A hot NYFW  trend was digital floral print, but we guess Amanda already knew that when she wore a purple Prabal Gurung frock to the L.A. premiere. The fresh-faced actress rocked the psychedelic design, teaming it with glittery Jimmy Choos and smoky eyes. This style may be a fave of Amanda's since she then worked the same look for a Madrid photo call with a colorful Michael Angel dress. We were in love with the thigh slit and Peter Pan collar, but even more so with the eggplant Lanvin pumps she paired with it.

Her final stop: Paris. In the city of love, Amanda went for an edgier look. The rising star teamed a black and nude grid dress by Marios Schwab with Sergio Rossi platform pumps that didn't upstage the fashion-forward frock.

Who Was Your Best Dressed at the Palm Springs Film Festival? | Hollywood yohana

Charlize Theron, Glenn Close, Angeline Jolie, Olivia Wilde, Jessica Chastain, Best of Palm Springs

Palm Springs has always been the haute getaway destination for the queens and kings of Tinseltown, so it was no wonder a bevy of beauties made the two hour jaunt to the desert for the city's Film Festival Awards Gala. The competition was stiff, but a few celebs hit the style nail on the head with their ensembles.
Charlize Theron managed to stand out in her Lanvin LBD with modern details like a scandalous leg cut-out and padded shoulders. Pulled back hair, a gold tube clutch and simple black sandals added a sophisticated air to the look. Despite the fact that the carpet was dominated by an endless parade of young beauties, Glenn Close showed us she can keep up with the PYT's in her dark gray Bibhu Mohapatra gown. Thanks to Glenn, we know that age is just a number!

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie threw us a curveball by forsaking her usual Grecian gowns for an Elie Saab jumpsuit. Minimal jewelry and loose waves completed the elegant ensemble. Olivia Wilde got her mojo back when she paired her new shoulder-length locks with a full-length black Monique Lhuillier gown. The designer known for her bridal creations, took a turn for the edgier with lace cut-outs, a racer-back and a dramatic train. Jessica Chastain knows a thing or two about color combinations, so she worked her vibrant orange hair to her advantage in an emerald Prabal Gurung number. The patchwork dress was complimented by strappy black Jimmy Choo sandals and a swipe of red lipstick.

Shirtdresses | Hollywood yohana

Pamela Anderson, Vanessa Hudgens, Kate Walsh

TREND: Shirtdresses
WHO'S WEARING IT: Pamela Anderson, Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Walsh
HOW TO WEAR IT: The summer staple may be easy, breezy, but it still requires some work to get the look right. First of all, belts are your friend. They will keep the outfit from looking totally baggy and give you a sexy hourglass shape. Accessorize with a rugged belt, sandals, floppy hat and an oversize tote on a casual afternoon. Or dress it up with a shiny patent cincher and heels for a date or girls get-together.

Bell-Bottom Jeans Are Ba-a-ack! | Hollywood yohana

Whitney Port, Jessica Alba, January Jones
TREND: Bell-bottom jeans
WHO'S WEARING IT: Whitney Port, Jessica Alba and January Jones
HOW TO WEAR IT: We're not sure whether it's a retro revival or a response to the ever-present skinny jean, but celebs are popping up everywhere in the '70s staple. Don't worry, you don't have to go all Farrah Fawcett to embrace the denim trend. Try modernizing the look like January did by pairing the flared pants with a collared shirt and stiletto booties. And remember: This look is all about emphasizing the jean's leg-lengthening magic—this means extra long tops like Jess' are a no, and skyscraper high heels are a go!

Get Cozy for the Holidays in a Fair Isle Knit | Hollywood yohana

Leona Lewis, Carey Mulligan, Rihanna

TREND: Fair Isle sweaters
WHO'S WEARING IT: Leona Lewis, Carey Mulligan and Rihanna
HOW TO WEAR IT: The traditional après-ski sweater has hit the fashion set just in time for your favorite seasonal celebration. The figure-forgiving pullover will have you looking instantly cute, all the while hiding that Thanksgiving food baby. Style your knit with leggings or skinny jeans like Leona and Carey or dress it up with a mini and tights like Rihanna. Then, throw a stylish beanie on top to complete the comfy look.

Round Out Your Style with a Circle Scarf | Hollywood yohana

Rihanna, Jessica Alba, Shenae Grimes

TREND: Infinity scarves
WHO'S WEARING IT: Shenae Grimes, Jessica Alba and Rihanna
HOW TO WEAR IT: First celebs were all about the olive scarf, but now the style set have fallen for a new neck-warming trend. Enter the circle scarf. The versatile accessory looks best looped around twice like Jessica, but you can always wear it hanging low like Rihanna or even pull one layer up over your head to make an impromptu hood! As for the rest of your outfit, keep it casual with boots and skinny cargo pants. Just don't get too comfy in the knitted scarf—Shenae's look reads more frumpy than fashionable!

Get Caught in a Cascade Sweater This Winter! | Hollywood yohana

Zoe Saldana, Megan Fox, Emma Roberts

TREND: Cascade sweaters
WHO'S WEARING IT: Zoe Saldana, Megan Fox and Emma Roberts
HOW TO WEAR IT: The distinct drapery on this chic layer is not only feminine, it's functional, too! Just think: it's the perfect thing to wear to stay warm and hide a bloated belly after a big meal. While we don't mind wearing one over a dress, Megan's beautiful navy knit is lost against her similar-hued frock. A dress in a contrasting color would've made the ruffled details of her jacket pop. Better yet, follow Zoe's and Emma's lead and rock the trend with a plain black tank and fitted bottoms to balance out and accentuate the top.

Brave the Cold in a Puffy Jacket | Hollywood yohana

Sandra Bullock, Sofia Vergara, Elisabeth Moss

TREND: Black puffy jackets
WHO'S WEARING IT: Sandra Bullock, Sofia Vergara and Elisabeth Moss
HOW TO WEAR IT: The Michelin Man-esque outerwear should never be paired with anything feminine and frilly. Keep it casual. The coat is meant to keep you warm, first and foremost. Since the bulgy layer will make you look bigger, an all-black outfit is ideal. But you can add a touch of chic to your look by picking out a puffy jacket that has a fur hood or collar, and accessorizing with a leopard-print bag, like Sofia.

Diane Kruger, Krysten Ritter, Camilla Belle

TREND: Red sunglasses
WHO'S WEARING IT: Krysten Ritter, Camilla Belle and Diane Kruger (Ray-Ban)
HOW TO WEAR IT: We always hear about protecting skin from the sun, but your lovely peepers need a little TLC to stay healthy too! Why not make a stylish statement at the same time by amping up your glasses game with a bold crimson frame? The red hot shades can be paired with practically any color; you can literally think of them as your new neutral. To be extra sun-safe take style notes from Diane and shade your skin with a trendy fedora this weekend.

Ashlee Simpson Keeps the Bell-Bottom Jeans Trend Alive! | Hollywood yohana

Ashlee Simpson
Whitney Port, Jessica Alba, January Jones

The revival of the bell-bottom jeans trend has struck the hearts of Hollywood's fashion-lovers hard. So, we weren't surprised when Ashlee Simpson was spotted wearing a pair in L.A., earlier this week. Unlike other celebs rocking the look, we loved that the singer's entire outfit seemed like it was right out of the ‘70s era. She accomplished this, by pairing the blue denims with an ivory crochet sweater, white eyelet top and black cat-eye sunnies.

Amp Up Your Wardrobe With a Rock Band Tee | Hollywood yohana

Lucy Hale, Fergie, Rumer Willis

TREND: Band t-shirts
WHO'S WEARING IT: Lucy Hale, Fergie and Rumer Willis
HOW TO WEAR IT: With summer music festivals in full swing, there's no better time to channel your inner Mick Jagger with the resurgence of band tees. Pick up on the rocker style by keeping the majority of your outfit casual. As all three celebs have shown, cutoff shorts are the bottom of choice to create an unfussy, edgy ensemble. But don't get too casual with your styling, lest you end up looking like a sloppy mess just like Fergie. Lastly, make sure to stay away from heels, so the vibe doesn't verge on trampy—you're not going for a groupie girl look!

Fur Collars Add a Luxurious Element to Winter Wear | Hollywood yohana

Fur, Fashion Week

TREND: Fur collars
WHO'S WEARING IT: Models at BCBGMAXAZRIA, JSong … Way, Juan Carlos Obando and Corey Lynn Calter
HOW TO WEAR IT: Even though we're only two days into our New York Fashion Week coverage, we've already spotted some killer trends fresh off the runway. Our favorite so far? The ultra-luxe fur collars that have popped up at tons of shows from BCBGMAXAZRIA to Juan Carlos Obando. The little fur accessory (faux preferably) packs a powerful sartorial punch. Take your boring old black or camel coat, add a colored collar around the neck and bam! you have completely transformed your winter ensemble. The versatile plush collar is also a great way to add drama to an evening gown like at Corey Lynn Calter. You can even take notes from JSong … Way (despite the label's strange name) and stretch that summer spaghetti strap dress into winter-appropriate wear with the shoulder-covering fur.

The Grammys Get the Midas Touch | Hollywood yohana

Grammys Gold Dresses 3-split Lambert/Swift/Hilton

TREND: Gold embroidered cap-sleeve dresses
WHO'S WEARING IT: Paris Hilton (Basil Soda), Taylor Swift (Zuhair Murad) and Miranda Lambert (Pavoni)
HOW TO WEAR IT: Even though some musicians rocked crazy fashion to the Grammys, this year the red carpet was filled with more elegant numbers than usual. While the heiress worked a gladiator-inspired white dress with metallic embroidery, Miranda's shimmery confection had a gorgeous gold tone to it. And if both dresses had an offspring, we imagine it would look a lot like Taylor's gown. The country singer sported our fave take on the trend! With this style of gown's delicate capped sleeve, we would suggest going sans bracelets or cocktail ring. To finalize this look, all you really need is a chic updo!

Who Was Your Best Dressed at the Grammys? | Hollywood yohana

Best of Grammys 6 Split: Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Kelly Osbourne, Julianne Hough, Adele

Girly glamour was the name of the game at the 2012 Grammy awards, and we couldn't be happier about it.
Although it was a somber night with the passing of singing great Whitney Houston just one day before, the stars still shined brightly on the red carpet. We were actually relieved that many of them opted for slightly demure looks, seeing as the Grammys have brought on some wild fashion risks in the past.

In fact, Katy Perry made our jaws drop, but not because she went for a crazy costume like in the past. This year, the blue-haired singer looked like a real-life doll in a baby blue gown with floral applique. But gold was the real color of the night, and we were not only thrilled that Taylor Swift rocked a gorg cap-sleeved embroidered gown in the hue, but that we can finally put Paris Hilton on one of our best dressed lists with her belted and not remotely dated number. (Rejoice!)

Julianne Hough and Adele gave those lovely ladies a run for their money, though, in LBDs that were anything but basic black, while Kelly Osbourne's side-ruched sequined one-shoulder dress was equally as stunning.

Put All Your Holiday Presents in One Basket | Hollywod yohana

Holiday Home Collage

The best part of the holidays is spending more time with family and friends. So when shopping for the home, remember to keep in mind everyone who lives in that household. And there's no better way to show them all you care than through a gift basket. No, we aren't talking about your general run of the mill ones either. Think à la Martha Stewart—make your own. But, don't worry, we give you permission to go out and buy the actual wicker basket.
Then, start thinking of the people that live in the house. Do they love to bake? Well, grab a mason jar and fill it up with all the ingredients to make cookies or brownies. While you are at it, throw in Christmas-themed cookie cutters, too. If the household is filled with children, include their fave (holiday or non-holiday-related) movies and candies. Whether you are gifting a home filled with wine connoisseurs or animal lovers, this method can apply to everyone! But if you can't recall what they love? Fret not; every room in the house could use a candle! Diptyque's Epinette scent will do the trick—it's festive and chic! Plus, creating your own li'l basket won't only make you look like an overachiever, but it'll save you a couple of bucks, too!

Incorporate Colorful Meals Into Your Diet | Hollywood yohana

Freshology Salmon Vegetables

Every week, mystyle staffers, readers, experts and stars offer their fave fashion, beauty and lifestyle tips. This week, we turned to David Venable, host of QVC's show Kitchen with David, for his expertise on eating healthy in the New Year. We loved this particular bit of advice below because of its stylish and bold approach to meals.
"Make dinner more colorful: Fruits and veggies are loaded with nutrients your body needs, so make an effort to incorporate rich color into every meal and not just dinner. In general, the deeper and bolder the color, the more of a health-punch it packs. If your family doesn't like veggies, sneak them into foods they do love with recipes like chicken and broccoli casserole, veggie soup, and more."—David Venable

Amanda LeBlanc Talks Dealing With Easily Rattled Clients | Hollywood yohana

The Amandas, Amanda

Every one of my clients has a different personality and way that they feel about the organizing process. I am very good at reading my clients and knowing when to push and when to pull back. I train my girls to do the same.
Although the process of having everything come out can be overwhelming, Matt the costume designer was ready.
We had several conversations with him where we discussed what would happen. It can be overwhelming for a regular client, but add to it, not just the organizers but a TV crew! WOW! That's a lot of people. Matt was a trooper.
The best thing to do with a nervous client is to take things slow. We constantly reassured Matt that nothing he wanted would be thrown out. I worked closely with Matt and earned his trust. It was important for me that he knew that I was hearing him, I understood and I would take care of him. That's essential for any client.
Even though I do all those things to take care of my clients, I understand that they hired me for a reason.
They want to get organized and change their life—and they have asked me to get them there. That means I have to push them, sometimes, past what they are comfortable with. For a lot of these clients, they have a difficult time letting go and they need to someone to encourage them to let go. If I don't do that, then I'm no good to them.
How much to push? How hard to push? That all depends on the vibe I get from the client. We all have various levels of emotional attachments to the things in our home. An objective third party helps you let go of the attachments that aren't good, or the ones you don't need anymore.
Ultimately, I am there to do a job and although you may be thinking that job is to get my client organized, you would only be half right. My job is to take care of you, my client.

Nicole Miller Is Feeling a Dark, Bohemian Girl for Fall | Hollywood yohana

Nicole Miller Model

We can always rely on our girl Nicole Miller for a pretty cocktail dress when we're in a quick pinch. She does sophisticated and put-together in a snap. But this? This is a brand new girl! We don't usually think of Miller as the go-to designer for the mysterious, free-spirited chick—that is, until now! The veteran designer's fall collection was dominated by a noir color palette with a Western-inspired lace top and a psychedelic blue fur added in here and there.

Our favorite ensemble was centered on a killer southwestern print sequin top with an of-the-moment collar and smoky sheer sleeves. Bucked boots and a signature floppy hat added rugged, cool elements to the outfit. Is it the most jaw-dropping look we've seen at fashion week so far? Not by a long shot, but we could totally see ourselves rocking the heck out of it, and wearability counts for a lot in our book. In fact, we would easily wear every piece in the collection—and considering how picky we are—that's a huge compliment.

Dark Florals are in Full Bloom | Hollywood yohana

Dark Florals, NY Fashion Week

TREND: Dark florals
WHO'S WEARING IT: Models at Richard Chai, Honor and Jill Stuart
HOW TO WEAR IT: Although florals are usually reserved for spring or summertime, the NYFW catwalks have been invaded with this feminine print. However, when they are set against a dark background, they are easily appropriate for the colder months. At Honor, ladylike purple floral frocks were all the rage, while Richard Chai used this print on work-appropriate blazers. Teamed with black pumps or flats, both looks would make a chic outfit for the fall. We especially liked how Jill Stuart styled the dark rose-hued frock with a black turtleneck and matching knee-high boots because this showed how you can transition this pattern from season to season. During the warmer days, simply pair it with sandals—and ta-da you have a spring-friendly ensemble. So we suggest investing in frock ASAP, that way you can use it in the spring and fall!

Nicky Hilton Shows She Hearts Charlotte Ronson | Hollywood yohana

Nicky Hilton, Charlotte Ronson, NY Fashion Week

At normal office jobs, having your friends come watch you work can be deemed inappropriate and unprofessional. However, when you are Charlotte Ronson, having BFFs come and support you at your biggest presentation comes with the territory. And a designer of her caliber is good pals with the hottest PYTs, including jewelry designer Nicky Hilton.

The heiress enjoyed a knitwear-filled show wearing a red lace mini that she toughened up with black tights. Unlike Nicky, the designer sported a more casual ensemble with some edge, thanks to her gray cutout knit sweater and dark floral skirt.
The collection she showcased was filled with ski-inspired garments, graphic prints and angular lines as she had spilled to myStyle days before the debut. Smartly, the creative genius behind the line decided the models should wear their hair in a sleek ponytail, probably, so that the attention would remain on her concoctions. However, she wasn't unafraid to play up the makeup—the leggy gals had on purple eye shadow and bright red puckers!

Monique Lhuillier Catches the Sartorial Scarlet Fever | Hollywood yohana

Monique Lhuillier Model, Twitter

Tonight, Nina Dobrev gave credit where it was deserved—to Monique Lhuillier, that is. The Vampire Diaries star certainly didn't hide her love for the designer when she tweeted, "Best dress of the night - hands down. Monique you are brilliant." There's not doubt about it: That red gown is gorgeous!

However, that wasn't the only scarlet-hued number on the catwalk. In fact, the whole collection has us seeing red—in a good way, though. The other hue that was prominent throughout the show was black. Sticking to a minimal color palate allowed the designer to be able to play with various elements. A handful of pieces had a flame-like print, while others were filled with sequins galore.
And our favorite dress from the entire runway was a nude tulle gown with rouge embroidery. Well, guess what?! The actress also snapped a pic of this stunner, too—and from backstage!

The Beauty Looks at L.A.M.B. are Bananas | Hollywood yohana

L.A.M.B., Model, Make-up, Nails, LAMB

Women love to have fun with beauty products. Sometimes, we'll sport a bright fuchsia pout, or, heck, wear a pair of fake lashes. However, it seems like Gwen Stefani, the designer of L.A.M.B., had a different take on the latter. During her runway, she showcased a bevy of models with eyelashes drawn on their eyelids. You bet people weren't talking about her plaid and tribal-print fashions when they left the show.

We could say this makeup look is a fashion-forward or a very innovative idea. But, call us old fashion, we think that only eye shadow belongs on your lids. We sure hope celebs don't try and mimic this look at any red carpet event because you know they'll be placed in our Don't Try These Trends at Home gallery. Now, one beauty look we did fawn over for were the black-and-nude half-moon nails. We've been a fan of the trend ever since we spotted Dita von Teese and Kendall Jenner sporting this mani. And we are ecstatic that the fad will be continuing into fall. Plus, this gives those of you who haven't tried the trend an opportunity to give it a go!

Katy Perry, Lela Rose model

Last November, when we asked you if you would dare sport the classic double roll ‘do like Katy Perry, most of you were on the fence. If you weren't totally convinced of the hairstyle then, Lela Rose has offered up a new take on the ‘40s era look with a dramatic single swoop. The man behind the hairstyle, Ted Gibson, drew upon architectural shapes to create a modified Gibson-girl style. To make sure the models looked flawless, his Build It Blow Dry Spray was used to anchor the gravity-defying tresses.

While we think the hairstyle echoed the collection perfectly—retro knee-length shifts and feminine coats abounded—we have to say the look still feels stuck in another decade. While it might be fun to play up the vintage feel of an ensemble, it's not a coif that feels modern at all. Not to mention, we wouldn't even know how to begin recreating the structural up-do at home!

Gisele Bundchen Buttons Up Her Loose Lips for Alexander Wang | Hollywood yohana

Gisele Bundchen

And this, my fashion friends, is why Gisele Bundchen is a professional supermodel and not a Super Bowl commentator. The glamazon took a break from spewing her profanity-laden opinion on her husband's performance to show us what she does best—owning the runway. The hot mamma looked incredible as strutted down the catwalk in the final look at Alexander Wang's fall fashion show.

The collection was dominated by dark, lacquered looks with a generous use of leather. The high-gloss ensembles were made up mostly of utilitarian separates including below-the-knee skirts and buttoned up coats. Some models were outfitted with curious face coverings that seemed to reference surgical flu masks. While Gisele's leather trench coat reminds us a bit of The Matrix, there's no denying she looks utterly fabulous. While she appeared to be in the zone on the runway, we have to wonder if Tom Brady was backstage yelling at the other models to walk properly. After all, his wife can't do everything!

Designers At NYFW Have Fallen For Collars—Again! | Hollywood yohana

NYFW Collar Secret

TREND: Contrast collar dresses
WHO'S WEARING IT: Models at Lela Rose, Kate Spade and Rebecca Minkoff
HOW TO WEAR IT: Good thing we like the statement collar, ‘cause it's the trend that just won't quit! Even though celebs have been wearing the quirky cute style for months now, major designers have confirmed the collar is here to stay for at least another season. To cop the youthful look for yourself, simply coordinate your shoes and coat to your dress, so the collar can shine on its own. And if you're wary of investing in the fad, go ahead and fake the look by layering a sleeveless collared shirt under a dress—you'll be incredibly au courant, and no will be any the wiser!

Who Was Your Best Dressed at the BAFTAs? | Hollywood yohana

BAFTA, Kristen Wiig, Viola Davis, Jessica Chastain, Michelle Williams, Penelope Cruz

Award season is in full swing! However, today, the movie stars didn't walk down a red carpet in L.A.—although, musicians will tonight for the Grammys! Instead they went all the way across to good ol' London for the BAFTA Awards, which took place at the Royal Opera House.

Sadly, the Duchess of Cambridge wasn't at the shindig, but a bevy of other babes showed why they are Hollywood royalty. Penélope Cruz went for a strapless crimson gown by Armani Privé. She proved that the only jewelry she needed to standout with was a pair of oversized diamond studs. Funnygal Kristen Wiig also decided to keep the bling to a minimum by teaming her white Alberta Ferretti dress with gold bracelets. On the other hand, Jessica Chastain and Michelle Williams couldn't resist adorning themselves with stunning necklaces. While The Tree of Life star opted to team her gems with an equally shiny Oscar de la Renta confection, the My Week with Marilyn star went for a classic black-and-white flower-accented gown that was created by H&M—sadly, this was a custom made piece, so you won't find it at your local store. The pixie-haired actress finalized the look with an adorable book-inspired clutch. Like Michelle, Viola Davis, too, wore a custom gown; however, her one-shoulder pink stunner was courtesy of Valentino.

Nude Manis Nail It at Fashion Week | Hollywood yohana

Nails

TREND: Nude nails
WHO'S WEARING IT: Models at Jason Wu, BCBGMAXAZRIA and Nicole Miller
HOW TO WEAR IT: During the spring, we'll be seeing tons of vivid nail colors. However, when fall gets here, the mood of manis will change pretty drastically. Instead of neon orange hues, nude will be the numero uno shade that will be worn. We saw tons of models during the fall 2012 fashion show sporting this trend on the runway. The beauty about this up-and-coming fad is that it will match with anything in your closet. We are serious about this! While BCBGMAXAZRIA had their models in colorblock numbers, Jason Wu showcased a slew of dark Victorian-inspired creations. So, this goes to show the wide range of the hue and styles they can be teamed with. And not to mention, since the color is so close to the one on your nails, people will hardly be able to notice when they start to chip!

Ashley Greene Sinks Her Teeth Into NYFW with Blood Red Dress | Hollywood yohana

Ashley Greene
DKNY Model

Thank you, Ashley Greene for reminding us we need to get a killer Valentine's Day dress pronto! Too bad we can't call up Donna Karan ourselves and have one custom made. Ah, the perks of being a designer's darling! All jealousy aside, the star of DKNY's campaign looked incredible at the veteran designer's fashion show today in NYC.

Her short-sleeve DKNY frock with the key-hole detail fit her perfectly and was a fresh burst of color. While the black tights and black shoes combo isn't exactly exciting, we can't blame the girl for wanting to cover up. After all, Donna had the doors of the venue thrown open, and the models hit the skyscraper-printed catwalk from outside. The quintessential New York designer even had a DKNY cab parked at the head of the runway as the ultimate urban backdrop.

If all the attendees were shivering, at least the models looked cozy in their urban outerwear ensembles. While the mostly grey and black collection didn't exactly wow us—we'll never understand a puffer jacket with a leather corset belt on top—there were tons of wearable winter staples that could find a welcome home in any closet.

Hello, Little Red! Nicki Minaj Pushes the Envelope in Versace! | Hollywood yohana

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj always sports wacky ensembles to normal events. So, you know she saved the best for music's biggest night, the Grammys. While everyone expected to see her wear something that would stir up a conversation, we never would have imagined she'd wear a little red riding hood meets high priestess cloak by Versace.

In fact, the Italian label is the same one who designed Jennifer Lopez's iconic look back in 2000. So that sort of makes us ask the question: Will this outfit costume become an iconic look? Only time will tell, but her appearance tonight will definitely be memorable.
The "Super Bass" singer didn't only have the guts to wear this getup; she also strolled down the carpet with a pope look-alike. The rapper sure is taking notes from Lady Gaga on how to make an entrance. We still remember when she came to the Grammys in a giant egg!
Take a look at the singer with her, um, leading man after the break.
