Mesh Cutout Dresses | Hollywood yohana
While ladylike frocks have been all the rage as of late, sometimes a gal wants to look (and feel) a little edgy. So, what have celebs been wearing to conjure up their inner bad girl? Frocks with mesh cutouts, of course. This design seems to be like the perfect middle ground, since it shows off a dose of the skin, but does not reveal too much.
It girl Jennifer Lawrence was the first to wear a dress with this risqué design. She rocked a blue Viktor & Rolf number that had swirl detailing to the People's Choice Awards back in January. She finalized the look with black peep-toe pumps, smoky eyes and an updo.
Just last week, Brooklyn Decker flaunted her mile-high gams in a black-and-white Stella McCartney racer-back frock to the Battleship photo call in London. Since this mesh cut-out dress was already a statement maker on its own, the model didn't need to over do it when it came to accessorizing—she simply opted for a pair of black criss-cross pointy heels and a messy updo.
This past weekend, LeAnn Rimes got in on the action and rocked the one-shouldered, red version of Brooklyn's dress to the Academy of Country Music Awards. She styled it with drop earrings, large rings, complementary Art Deco clutch, nude strappy Christian Louboutin platforms and a top knot.
While we think all the ladies look fab, we are still hesitant on the trend. Needless to say, if you have the guts to wear this, make sure to go easy on the accessories.
