Which Alt-Musician-High-Fashion-Type-Person Is Dressed Like Prince’s Curtains? | Hollywood yohana

DUI

When Scarlett O'Hara was going through her poverty phase, she made a gown out of her curtains. This alt-music fashion queen prefers three piece suits. Made from curtains stolen from Prince's house. We will say this: At least the little Persian harem slippers match.

Kerry Washington | Hollywood yohana

Kerry Washington

The always fashionable Kerry Washington gave us a peek at her personal style during the LG Cinema 3D HDTV Gift Lounge backstage at the Spirit Awards, where she received goodies from Pure Dark, Nautica, and AMC.
WHAT SHE'S STYLIN: I'm wearing a Dolce & Gabbana floral dress and leopard clutch. Red Sergio Rossi shoes.
FASHION PHILOSOPHY: I just try to be event-appropriate. You want to look good for the event that you're going to. You don't want to wear a gown to an afternoon tea. I love playing dress up. I hate shopping for myself, but I love fittings for playing characters and for the red carpet.
ON NEW HAIRCUT: The bangs, I love. It's fun! I get my hair done in New York by Takisha Sturdivant. She's great!
SHOPPING ADVICE: It's really important not to get caught up in labels. I wore this beautiful Vivienne Westwood day dress to the Essence Luncheon and my bag was from Aldo! You shouldn't get caught up in the price tags and the labels. If you love something, go for it! Don't worry about it being from a certain brand. You can really look great at affordable prices. It's fun for me to wear things on the red carpet, too, that I feel all of my fans can afford.

Tamera Mowry | Hollywood yohana

Tamera Mowry

The star of Style's upcoming show Tia & Tamera gave us the scoop on her personal style and wedding plans (she's engaged to Fox News correspondent Adam Housely) during the Celebrity Retreat backstage at the NAACP Image Awards. The actress walked away with goodies from CCNails, Aroma Naturals and BiGRaudio.
WHAT SHE'S STYLIN: I represent the average girl today. I have Aldo shoes on and a BCBG dress. I like this dress because it's simple, comfortable and kind of vintage.
FASHION PHILOSOPHY: Simple and comfortable is my style. If I don't feel comfortable in something, I'm not going to wear it. It doesn't matter how gorgeous it is.
INNER GLOW: You have to feel confident and sexy from the inside. That means eating right, making sure you drink lots of water, exercise. There's just something that happens when you exercise. You just feel confident as woman. You feel sexier. And then it just exudes inside out. So definitely make sure to take care of yourself.
ON HER ENGAGEMENT RING: The reason why I like it is because it's vintage. I always say that if I were a ring, I would be this ring! It's so unique. It's pretty, but it also has these crazy lines on it—and I can be a tad bit crazy!

Tamera Mowry, Adam Housley

THE DRESS: My wedding gown is Carolina Herrera. It's absolutely gorgeous! It's strapless and mermaid. It took me months to find my dress. Once I saw it, I knew.
DANCING SHOES: The bridesmaids gifts will be ballet flats. Flats are my favorite! After the ceremony, they can just put those babies on and dance the night away.
INSPIRATIONAL FIGURE: Viola Davis. I just spoke to her at the Essence Luncheon and she just moved me to tears. She's a woman who has struggled a lot. She's had some challenges, but she overcame them. She's strong, disciplined, all around just a wonderful actress.

Victoria Justice | Hollywood yohana

Victoria Justice

The gorgeous tween idol gave us a peek at her personal style during an amazing event for the Los Angeles Lakers' and the Staples Center's youth foundations that was sponsored by Spiegel, Express and Zeghani.
WHAT SHE'S STYLIN': I love that it's spring, and I'm wearing the most fall outfit out there! But I have on a Lucky cardigan. My shoes are Modern Vintage. My jeans are by J Brand—which are my favorite right now. They fit really well, and I like that they're comfortable and stretchy.
FASHION PHILOSOPHY: I always wear what I feel comfortable in. I like taking chances, ocassionally, in wearing brighter colors. Lavender is one of my favorite colors, so I'm looking forward to wearing more of that this spring. I also really love boots. I'm a big fan of boots!

MAKEUP MUST-HAVE: I use Quick Blush by Clinique. The brush and the blush are in the same thing. You twist it and the blush comes out. It's really cool. I use that a lot!

Kelly Osbourne | Hollywood Fashions

The cohost of Fashion Police gave more dish on her personal style during NBCUniversal's summer press day at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.
WHAT SHE'S STYLIN': I'm wearing Tadashi Shoji dress, Marni shoes, Chanel watch and Theo Fennell ring.
TICKLED HOT PINK: I've always worn bright lipstick. I think it's a really fun way of modernizing your look without doing too much makeup. When I was younger, I used to cake on my makeup. Now, instead of doing full eyes and lips, I like it light on the eyes and a bright-colored lip to make it more fun. I love matte lips. I don't like gloss.
FAVE SPRING TRENDS: I'm really loving coloring clash right now. I love putting a fuchsia pink with a fuchsia orange. It looks amazing! Great bold colors. I also love the '70s look, but I can't do the '70s look and it bums me out! It just doesn't look right on me because of my tattoos.
GROOVY ADVICE: Do one statement piece at a time. If you're going to wear high-waisted jeans, wear a modern jacket with it. Don't go for the entire look. Unless you've been dressing that way for a really long time, and it just so happens that that's what's in style right now—it ends up looking like you're on your way to a dress up party.

Birthday Girl Sharie Hits the Dance Floor—Material Girl Style | Hollywood yohana

Tracy DiMarco, Sharie Manon
The last time one of Style's stars celebrated a birthday, it was for Tracy DiMarco's very pink and cutesy 24th. Cut to this past weekend when the older and wiser (she was mum on her age) Sharie Manon of Glam Fairy fêted her b-day at Lair in SoHo, and it was obvious that this Jersey girl's milestone bash was meant for the grown and sexy.
Sharie opted for a sophisticated black-and-white color palette, but modeled her outfit after a racy ensemble Madonna wore at a party in NYC last month. "It was my way of bowing down to Madonna, because she's still got it!" the hair diva told mystyle of her look, which consisted of a white ruffle blouse, silver necklace, black sequined Topshop hot pants, sheer tights and black knee-highs.

Tracy followed suit in a similar thigh-happy getup that included a white blazer, cinched black mini, blingy purse and black over-the-knee boots. Her inspiration? Alexa Prisco at New Jersey Fashion Week. Tracy's boyfriend Corey Epstein, Sharie's bestie Glamo and Gatsby to Go assistant Miguel Rodriguez were also in the house.
Sharie's fave part of the evening? Hitting the dance floor with a hot guy, who wasn't her hubby! So, who was he?

Carrie Underwood Weighs Down Her Ballerina Dress at American Country Awards | Hollywood yohana

Carrie Underwood

Another awards show celebrating country music, another opportunity for Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and, yes, Keith Urban's stylish half Nicole Kidman to wear a pretty dress. Well, Taylor and Nicole didn't attend last night's American Country Awards in Las Vegas, so we bring to you the next most famous Carrie after Bradshaw.
The cutie sure delivered—from the knee up, anyway! She looked absolutely adorable in a cream Maria Lucia Hohan strapless cocktail dress with ruffled skirt, which she lit up with a silver Swarovski clutch, big earrings and cuff. A soft updo and dewy makeup finished off what would have been the perfect holiday ballerina look.

Don't look down! Since that warning never works, we feel compelled to talk about those awful shoes! The singer paired her girlie number with cream leather-and-purple colorblocked gem-encrusted heels by Ryan Haber.
Ladies, please listen up! Unless wrap details are studded out, they just make you look like you sprained your ankles—or you're under house arrest. Take your pick. Then again, why would you want to. Just. Say. No!

Beauty's in the Bag With a Woven Clutch | Hollywood yohana

Diane Kruger, Luciana Barroso, Julianne Hough

TREND: Woven-detail clutches
WHO'S WEARING IT: Diane Kruger (Chanel), Luciana Barroso and Julianne Hough (Bottega Veneta)
HOW TO WEAR IT: A diamond-patterned purse can kick up the visual interest of your look. Diane showed how it can work with your outfit when she complemented the jagged features of her Vionnet gown with a black Chanel quilted-looking box clutch; Luciana leaned on her eye-catching champagne-colored accessory to jazz up her all-black ensemble; and Julianne kept her head-to-toe nude attire from washing her out by carrying the textured tote in brown. Whatever you do, just don't take away from the trend by pairing it with a busy pattern.

Blooming Jewels on the Oscars Red Carpet | Hollywood yohana

Scarlett Johansson, Marisa Tomei

TREND: Floral jewels
WHO'S WEARING IT: Scarlett Johansson (Anna Hu) and Marisa Tomei (Van Cleef & Arpels)
HOW TO WEAR IT: Perhaps it's because we absolutely can't wait for spring but one of our fave jewelry trends on the Oscars red carpet were the blooming florals. ScarJo made her lace sparke with emeralds, diamonds and cabochon rubies while Marisa opted for yellow diamond starburst earrings and a matching bracelet.

Orange Blazers | Hollywood yohana

Camilla Belle, Rachel Bilson, Olivia Palermo

TREND: Orange blazers
WHO'S WEARING IT: Camilla Belle (Gucci), Rachel Bilson and Olivia Palermo
HOW TO WEAR IT: Celebs are shaking up the winter doldrums with a shock of unexpected orange outerwear. Whether you choose a bright tangerine or a light apricot, the blazer is a strong sartorial statement so we recommend pairing yours with neutrals, like Rachel. If you want to mix it up with another color, take a cue from Olivia and carry your essentials in a contrasting clutch. For the truly bold fashionista, take inspiration from Gucci's spring runway and pair the eye-catching jacket with jewel tones.

Give Some Jewelry Love to Your Feet with an Anklet | Hollywood yohana

Rihanna, Isabel Lucas, Jenni JWoww Farley

TREND: Anklets
WHO'S WEARING IT: Keep reading to find out!

HOW TO WEAR IT: After a long hiatus, anklets are back. When slipping on foot jewelry make sure it looks like a bracelet you'd wear on your wrist, not some rubber band. And beware of anything too thick. You'll run the risk of getting mistaken for pulling a Linday Lohan with an alcohol monitoring bracelet.

Your Neon Fix Is in the Bag, Baby! | Holywood yohana

Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian

TREND: Neon bags
WHO'S WEARING IT: Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian Odom (all Hermès)
HOW TO WEAR IT: Earlier this month, we spilled on all the ways you can accessorize with neon. But when all three of the Kardashian babes popped up sporting their matching day-glo totes, we just had to highlight the fun way to get bright. As the stylish sisters all know, the best way to bag this look is by keeping the rest of your outfit neutral. Just pair a blush or nude top with a summer staple like Kimmie's white jeans or Khloé's denim daisy dukes. Kourt shows us how to work the look right into fall with black tights and boots. The blinding bag may look like it wouldn't match with a thing, but you can use it to punch up your look year round!

Bare Your Arms in a Sleeveless Button-Down | Hollywood yohana

Pippa Middleton, Shenae Grimes, Paris Hilton

TREND: Sleeveless button-down shirt
WHO'S WEARING IT: Pippa Middleton, Shenae Grimes and Paris Hilton
HOW TO WEAR IT: A long sleeve button-down is a classic staple, but they aren't too practical for the hot days ahead. However, you can still manage to get the same put-together look while baring your arms in a sleeveless version. We especially like how Pippa paired her baby blue shirt with matching light jeans; it manages to elongate her body and gives it a modern touch. Paris did the same thing, but the heiress opted for shorts and neutral tone. However, we would recommend going sans frills with this piece. Now if you are daring, take a cue from Shenae Grimes who went for the tie-knot approach. It's totally relaxed yet very young and fresh. Now if you are worried about getting chilly at night, simply pop on a denim jacket or a cardi to keep you warm.

The High-Waisted Horror! Lindsay Lohan Falls Short of Courtroom Chic | Hollywood yohana

Lindsay Lohan

The judge may have looked upon Lindsay Lohan with a kind eye during a scheduled progress report this morning, but we just can't. The troubled star, who has single-handedly monopolized our Trial Style gallery, insisted on showing up to court in a pair of high-waisted trousers.
What's wrong with high-waisted trousers, you say? Well, nothing. In fact, they provide instant chic in our book. Our problem is with how LiLo styled them. Her powder blue colorblock sweater looks like it's a cropped top from afar. Definitely a courtroom no-no. And, c'mon! Can someone please toss the girl an adequately supportive bra already?
Luckily, we won't have to bear witness to the platinum blonde's not-so-innocent courtroom attire soon enough given that she's adhering to the terms of her probation (shocking!). In that regard, keep up the good work, Lindz!

High-Heeled Loafers | Hollywood yohana

Hailee Steinfeld, Louise Roe, Malin Akerman

TREND: High-heeled loafers
WHO'S WEARING IT: Hailee Steinfeld (Louis Vuitton), Louise Roe and Malin Akerman
HOW TO WEAR IT: The traditional school girl loafer of your childhood just got a very fashionable lift. When elevated as a sky-high heel, the shoe takes on a preppy, yet sexy tone—call it librarian chic, if you will. The trend kicked off with Hailee, but has been going strong all fashion week, as seen on Louise and Malin, not to mention stomping down the runways of Peter Som and Ralph Lauren. We recommend playing up the preppy vibe by pairing it with a below-the-knee pleated skirt and a cute cardi. Or if you're feeling extra daring, the kicks would look absolutely darling with a shorts suit.

Stars Make a Fiery Appearance on the Emmy Awards Red Carpet | Hollywood yohana

Nina Dobrev, Kerry Washington, Lea Michele, Kate Winslet, Adrianne Palicki, Sofia Vergara

TREND: Red gowns
WHO'S WEARING IT: Nina Dobrev (Donna Karan), Kerry Washington (Zuhair Murad), Lea Michele (Marchesa), Kate Winslet (Elie Saab), Adrianne Palicki and Sofia Vergara (Vera Wang)
HOW TO WEAR IT: From Nina Dobrev's crimson strapless to Sofia Vergara's coral one-shoulder, the stars were unafraid to rock shades of the look-at-me color on the Emmy Awards red carpet. The actresses kept from blending in completely with the floor beneath them by opting for fiery dresses with striking details, such as Kerry Washington's sheer skirt, Lea Michele's puff sleeves, Kate Winslet's plunging keyhole neckline and Adrianne Palicki's thigh-high slit. To look camera-ready for your own special occasion, try accessorizing a red full-length number with glittering jewels, metallic purse and heels or even a matchy-matchy clutch and lips.

Celebrate Valentine's Day Early in Red Skinnies | Hollywood yohana

Jessica Alba, Nicky Hilton, Shenae Grimes, Judy Greer
TREND: Red skinny jeans
WHO'S WEARING IT: Judy Greer, Shenae Grimes (Black Orchid), Nicky Hilton (J Brand) and Jessica Alba (Joe's Jeans)
HOW TO WEAR IT: What's black, white and red all over? If you answered a really cheesy joke or the hottest trend in Hollywood right now, you'd be right! Celebs keep stepping out in red skinny jeans, and we can't blame them—it's a nice alternative to the same ol' dark denim. Wear with a tee and leather for a rocker vibe, whether it's a blunt one like Shenae's The Clash top or subtle like Jessica's blazer-and-booties combo. If you're not feeling the need to pay homage to CBGB, pair with a structured two-toned jacket like Nicky or use red as your neutral, like Judy did by mixing it with a leopard top. Make the bold denim the focal point by avoiding other brights—especially more red!—and teaming it with tan, black and white accents to pull the look together. Trendy, cute and in theValentine Day's spirit? Now that we can get behind.

Madonna Walks Like an (Givenchy-Clad) Egyptian at Super Bowl | Hollywood yohana

Madonna

There was one major reason we watched yesterday's Super Bowl Game, and believe it or not, it didn't have to do with Tom Brady's devilish good looks. As per usual, we couldn't help but focus on the fashion, so we had to tune in to see Madonna's incredible half-time costumes. Thankfully, our fashion devotion was rewarded as the Queen of Reinvention didn't disappoint in three show-stopping custom Givenchy outfits.

All three ensembles followed an over-the-top Roman gladiator meets Egyptian princess theme. Our favorite look consisted of a black short-sleeve dress with an ornate gold embellished gladiator skirt on top. The accessories were just as incredible with leather gloves, Bulgari jewels, a horned Philip Treacy headpiece and Madge's favorite staple, thigh-high boots.
As the Material Girl shimmied and shook to her new tune "Give Me All Your Luvin," two mega-watt stars joined her onstage in equally outrageous ensembles.
Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. joined the living legend in coordinating ensembles by Fausto Puglisi that gave off a sexy cheerleader meets gladiator vibe. Even though the outfits were risqué enough, the "Paper Planes" singer took it a step further by flipping the bird to the audience. While some took major offense, we figure what's a half-time show without a little controversy, right Janet Jackson?

Blake Lively Dons Romantic Valentino Look for Godiva Unveiling | Hollywood yohana

Blake Lively
We love us some Godiva chocolates. We already marked up their Valentine's Day catalog and left it out for our significant others to find. Thoughtful, right? Well, as it turns out, Blake Lively is also a big fan. Long before she was a Gossip Girl, she was a Godiva girl. (Couldn't resist!)

The actress joined Nicholas Sparks (author of The Notebook, Dear John, etc.—you know, every hopeless romantic's dream and their boyfriends' nightmare) in NYC to unveil Godiva's array of 2012 Valentine's Day goodies.
Holding a heart-shaped, rose-adorned red tin filled with sweets, Blake looked lovely in a cream Valentino short-sleeved, knee-length sheath, which she stylishly layered with a cornflower lace Valentino pencil skirt. The leggy babe finished off the look with pointy cream snakeskin pumps by her stiletto godfather, Christian Louboutin.
(Keep reading to see the blonde's look from head to toe!)
The ladylike yet completely fresh look is a definite sign of fashion maturity from Ryan Reynold's current flame, who, at one time, always had to show both boobs and legs.

Scar Jo Lost Her MoJo at the Golden Camera Awards| Hollywood yohana

Scarlett Johansson

We're pretty used to Calvin Klein churning out modern masterpieces for the red carpet—remember when he dressed Jennifer Lawrence in red for the Academy Awards? It was all anyone could talk about! So when Scarlett Johansson showed up in this underwhelming ensemble at the Golden Camera Awards in Berlin, we had to double check the designer's name. Mr. Klein let his golden hands touch this?

Everyone makes mistakes, but the bombshell actress should have known better than to don the aging ensemble. What happened to our sexy, young thing?! The exposed piping isn't doing her body any favors, and we won't even go near that hideous rust-colored ombre effect at the hem.
And unfortunately for Scarlett, the crimes didn't stop at the dress.
Something about the makeup and hair had a matronly effect too! The tousled up-do is fine enough, but the wine colored lipstick looks like something we stole out of our mom's purse. We guess if she was trying to match the makeup to the gown, she certainly succeeded. Someone please help this girl get her mojo back—Calvin Klein need not apply!
