Carly Rae Jepsen: Behind the scenes

So the choice to have her on FASHION Magazine’s October 2012 cover was beyond easy to make—and not just because we’ve been humming along to her music for months on end. It’s clear from the pictures that Carly Rae Jepsen has a stylish star quality that’s certain to keep her in the spotlight for a long time to come. (Don’t you just love a good Canadian success story?) New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 Street Style: We spot Victoria Beckham, Jenna Lyons and the Courtin-Clarins girls | Hollywood yohana

Claire Prisca Virginie Jenna Courtin Clarins New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 Intro

Next up in our street style coverage of New York Fashion Week, our resident street style photographer Stefania Yarhi has captured more of the fashion flock from outside the shows on Sunday. Yarhi’s savvy camera skills caught the likes of Victoria Beckham (who chatted with us back in August), outside after her Spring 2013 show who looked as chic as ever in all black shorts, T-shirt (likely of her own design) and sunglasses. Also snapped: the enviously impeccable Courtin-Clarins girls looking as chic as ever with Claire wearing a black and burgundy long-sleeved dress, Prisca in a white dress, Virginie in a black shirt, and long blue and white striped skirt, and Jenna in a long sleeved printed dress on the streets of New York. J. Crew’s Jenna Lyons looked quite serious while taking a call, wearing a slick grey blazer and white pants. Model Erin Wasson who seemed to be in a hurry, was snapped in a grey button up and holding a furry (real or fake?) purse.

Yarhi was also able to capture other street style photographers as they walked the street to catch people coming from presentations by Victoria Beckham, DKNY, Thakoon, and Diane von Furstenberg among others on Sunday. Blogger and photographer Bryanboy was all smiles, and of course legendary New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham was outside waiting for the perfect photo. Yarhi’s lens also captured the likes of Elin Kling, Joanna Hillman, Michelle Harper, Miroslava Duma, blogger Susie Bubble, Taylor Tomasi-Hill and Waris Ahluwalia throughout the city coming and going from the shows.
And of course it wouldn’t be a street style post without a sighting of editor Anna Dello Russo leaving Victoria Beckham’s show looking classy in a beige and black form-fitting dress from Beckham’s collection, gold jewellery and a black hat and veil. She was later spotted having fun wearing a reflective visor (sunglasses?) over her eyes, and it was back to the quirky and wonderful Anna we know and love.
