The Row Damien Hirst Croc Backpack

he Olsen twins have gone from solving crimes by dinnertime to creating a bag covered in pills that amphetamine loving beauty blogger Cat Marnell probably dreams about at night.
The Row first released a mini crocodile backpack that retailed for $35,000 with plenty of criticism, which then proceeded to sell out. Now, the mini backpack has returned as a collaboration between artist, Damien Hirst, and The Row. The 12 extremely limited edition bags have gone up in price (eek!) and will set a buyer back a cool $55,000.

Someone willing to buy the “one-of-a-kind wearable art work” can chose between a backpack covered in prescription pill appliqués or polka dot appliqués in gold or Technicolor. The purses are inspired by Hirst’s work and pay homage to his famous Spot paintings and his pill covered canvas titled “The Void”.
Hirst gets to decide what portion of proceeds will be donated to Unicef on behalf of the collaboration, which will exclusively be sold on Just One Eye, an online retailer. We hope he’s feeling very generous.
