Like Janet Jackson, Salma Hayek often tones down her insanely curvaceous bod with menswear-inspired looks. So, it wasn't startling to see her borrow from Ms. Jackson's masculine-chic repertoire with a layered halter.
During the promotional tour for her new flick Puss In Boots, the Mexican actress incorporated the unique styling into her outfit twice. She also added her own twist by wearing the halter, which served as a pop of color to her all-black YSL suit (yes, even the wife of the man who heads up various designer brands wears pieces more than once!), underneath a vest. Janet simply wore hers with a blazer. Salma debuted the look with a pink version at a photo call in Buenos Aires a couple of weeks ago. She accessorized the sleeveless ensemble with a gold cuff. For the movie's London premiere on Thursday, she opted for a mint halter. That time, her look was costumey. She had on a bowler hat and tuxedo jacket, and, once again, rocked a gold accent in the form of a small clutch.
