Look at this! It seems the Spice Girls will indeed perform at the Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday | Hollywood yohana
Given that we were already in fits of excitement-induced squeals over the mere rumour of a Spice Girls comeback, today’s pictures of the fab five rehearsing has sent us right over the edge.
The original Girl Power creators were spotted atop rhinestone-encrusted (!) cabs, clad in casual yet true-to-style looks for each of their Spice personas. Victoria Beckham was in a sleek, all-black outfit, Emma Bunton wore a sweet and femme sundress, Mel B was decked out in all white with a pair of knee-high Louboutin boots, Mel C worked her signature sporty look in leggings and Isabel Marant wedge sneakers and Geri Halliwell was casual in cutoffs and booties. (She’s looking a bit Kate Bosworth-esque, don’t you think?)
Though the five-some has yet to officially confirm their reunion at this Sunday’s Olympics closing ceremony, we can’t think of any other reason they’d all be careening about with mics in hand. Keep your fingers crossed that they’ll rig up the Union Jack double-decker bus for Sunday!
