Designers Get Touchy Feely with Handprint Dresses at NYFW
Wed., Feb. 15, 2012 4:00 PM PST by Kathryn CollingsDiane von Furstenberg and the sisters behind Rodarte got hands-on with their collections for fall 2012—literally! Both lines debuted a curious print featuring dismembered hands, which made the models look like they were being groped.
Ewww. While the designer famous for wrap dresses opted for a cheeky black and white version over the bust and hip, the quirkier L.A. based
arteests preferred full body contact with an all over print. We have to say we're not really fans of either version.
And while we wish this look was a one-time hiccup in the fashion world, we regret to inform you this isn't the first time we've seen the creepy pattern.
