Two Identical Dresses Give Us Déjà Vu | Hollywood yohana

DVF Model, Oscar de la Renta Model

Well look what we have here. Two separate runways—Diane von Furstenberg's and Oscar de la Renta's to be exact—and two nearly identical dresses. Tsk, tsk.
We know fashion is often recycled, but the resemblance is uncanny! From the evenly spaced embellishments to the high neck and below-the-knee hem, we can barely tell the frocks apart. The only difference we can spy was a full length versus an abbreviated sleeve. So who's to blame for the repeat incident?

Diane von Furstenberg did show first on Sunday with a diverse collection full of wacky prints, but that fact doesn't necessarily mean anything as design sketches are made months in advance. We also must mention Oscar de la Renta does sort of have dibs on this type of embellishment. It's one of his signature designs that he's been doing for years, so it fit right into his prim and proper collection. So is there some spy stealing sketches and delivering them to the competing designers? Probably not, but the world may never know!
