J. Crew Plays With Prints Here, There & Everywhere | Hollywood yohana
J. Crew has been known to design preppy and traditional pieces. However, their fall 2012 presentation showed that classic pieces can be updated, thanks to a little thing called prints. And not only that, but they also showed that you can mix-and-match different patterns.
Plaid especially played a major role, not only was the linear pattern seen in trousers, but also in coats and shoes. And the high street brand wasn't afraid to team plaid with anything from polka dot to stripes.
On an edgier note, J. Crew featured a heavy dose of snakeskin prints in both their clothing and accessories. And of course, since this collection is for the fall and winter, wool sweaters, including Fair Isle turtlenecks, were peppered throughout the show.
The only downside: We have to wait a whole season to snatch these babies up! Seriously. We. Want. Every. Single. Piece.
