Viola Davis & Anna Wintour Put on Poker Faces at Vera Wang | Hollywood yohana
Anna Wintour must get to meet a merry-go-round of celebrities at NYFW, as the seat of honor at every show is always next to the high priestess of Vogue. From Nicki Minaj to David Beckham, the black-clad editrix has sat next to nearly every A-lister. We guess the novelty of star power has worn off, because if we got to sit mere inches from Viola Davis, the belle of this year's award seasons, we might be inspired to crack at least a little smile.
But both ladies remained stone-faced as they gazed out at the ethereal confections Vera Wang created for fall 2012. The varied show included gauzy creations in black and grey with pops of teal and vibrant orange, which were contrasted by edgier looks with fur and architectural angles. While Viola didn't exactly look overjoyed with the ensembles (even though her gray and blue outfit reflected the collection's color palette), perhaps she just adopted "The Thinker's" pose to puzzle out which looks she should snag for the rest of awards season. We could totally picture The Help actress in some of Vera's more feminine designs!
